INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Excessive stock constitutes an economic burden for industry, in terms of investment, obsolescence costs, and the costs of handling the product in the Supply Chain.

PHAT LOGISTICS develops Supply Chain solutions which aim to reduce stock at the same time as optimising product availability in order to achieve minimum costs without compromising the service.

REVERSE LOGISTICS

Product returns have a major impact on storage infrastructures and the Supply Chain and apply even more pressure to distributors and their suppliers.

However, the need to manage returns effectively goes far beyond seasonal peaks and troughs; in our experience of mail-order sales companies, returns go up to around 15% throughout the year. Until now, Reverse Logistics has been characterised by inefficiency, a lack of traceability, and poorly developed procedures. This leads to an increase in running costs to four times higher than delivery costs to a shop.
